Warm Heart, Joyful Life: Ancient Wisdom for our Busy, Modern Lives
At our Thursday night course, you'll learn how to combine meditation with an exploration of how to apply Buddhist teachings in your daily life.
The Buddhist teachings on giving, patience, moral discipline, effort, concentration, and wisdom, called the "six perfections," will help you create positive states of mind, improve your relationships and help you realize your full human potential.
These ancient teachings have helped people transform their lives for thousands of years. By attending the class you'll gain access to these powerful methods, taught by Buddhist masters such as Shantideva (AD 687 - 763), and more recently the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Not only will you learn about the teachings, each class will include meditation practice to gain a direct experience of these profound and proven methods.
The course is open to beginning and experience meditators. Everyone welcome. Drop in anytime - no registration required.
